We understand that cost of treatment can be a barrier to dental care. We will be as transparent and helpful as possible with fee breakdowns prior to treatment whenever possible.
We are happy to accept Canadian dental insurance and we will submit your claim electronically to your insurer. Where possible, we can ask your insurer to allow us to receive payment (direct billing aka assignment), although not all companies allow this. Some patients to prefer upfront to benefit from points on their credit card, if you prefer to do so we can set you up as non-assignment and can still submit your claim electronically.
Before your first appointment you will receive an email link to access our secure HIPAA compliant patient portal. Prior to your appointment you can provide us details of your insurance. We will then try to find out about your coverage. Occasionally it is not possible for us to find out the breakdown of your insurance prior to your first visit. If you are concerned about this please get in touch. If there are changes in future to your insurance details please let us know so that there are no unexpected charges to you.
For patients who would like a payment plan option to help with their dental care costs, we can offer in-office no-interest 3 to 12 month payment plans for treatment under $2000 or Invisalign cases.
For patients who would like a longer payment plan option or for costs over $2000, we have the option of financing. We are partnered with Dentalcard, Canada’s Dental Finance Company. Patients can apply for financing up to $20,000 at competitive rates. For more information, visit dentalcard.ca.
